Dylan R. Elliott, Esq.
Dylan Rogers Elliott joined Salsbury Sullivan, LLC after clerking for the Honorable Dan Friedman on the Maryland Court of Special Appeals (now the “Appellate Court of Maryland”) and the Honorable Deborah K. Chasanow on the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.
Dylan graduated from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2020 magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, and Order of the Barristers. During law school, Dylan served as the captain of the National Trial Team, the executive vice president of the Student Bar Association, a notes and comments editor of the Journal of Race, Religion, Gender, and Class, and a member of the Moot Court Board. Dylan also worked as a Rule 19-220 attorney in Maryland Law’s Pretrial Release and Parole Advocacy Clinic. Dylan’s advocacy helped secure the release of clients from pre-trial detention and incarceration. Upon graduation, he received the William P. Cunningham Award for exceptional achievements and service to the School of Law. Prior to law school, Dylan graduated from UMBC in 2017, B.A. in History, magna cum laude, Honors College, Humanities Scholar, and Phi Beta Kappa.
Dylan lives in Baltimore City with his dog and two cats. He serves on the leadership committee of Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service Community Advocacy Network (“MVLS CAN”), and the Alumni Board of Maryland Law. Dylan volunteers as a coach for the UMBC Mock Trial Program and the National Trial Team. In 2021 Dylan helped coach UMBC to the American Mock Trial Association’s National Championship, which earned him the W. Ward Reynoldson Award.
